Seminar: How to use public interest litigation (25 September)
The Migrants’ Law Project, an SLF grantee, is running a free seminar on how NGOs can use the law to bring about policy change. It will cover:
- How to use the court process.
- Practical issues NGOs face in using litigation effectively.
- How litigation can strengthen advocacy and campaigning.
- The financial implications of taking action.
No prior legal training is needed to attend. The seminar is aimed at policy workers, senior managers with financial and decision-making responsibilities, and at funders working across the voluntary sector, not just those working in immigration and asylum. Trustees and management committee members are especially welcome.
The seminar will be held in London on 25th September 2013, 10.30 – 16.30.
