Introduction to Strategic Litigation Training for NGO's

The SLF is delighted to announce a series of four free introductory webinars on strategic litigation for ILPA members in 2021.

The trainings are introductory courses for small charities and NGOs who are new to strategic litigation. The webinars will provide an overview of strategic litigation and how it can be used to bring about changes to law, policy and practise for those disadvantaged or discriminated by their immigration status.

Each webinar will have a guest speaker and we are delighted that Maternity Action, Project 17 and the Child Poverty Action Group have all agreed to speak about their experiences of strategic litigation and SLF funding.

The webinars are specifically for people working in NGO's that have not undergone legal training or are qualified solicitors and barristers. This training is open to anyone within NGO's including interns, volunteers and trustees. The next webinar will take place on the 8th of July 10-12, more information can be found on the ILPA website.
